Our Program
Admission Criteria
The center will accept all children from ages 3 weeks old through school age children up to age 15. The center will receive children in its care regardless of race, creed, color, religion, or disability status. The preface is that the current staff must be able to accommodate special needs children without a staff increase to care for the disabled child. Those children who are elementary school students who are part-time students will also be accepted and cared for according to the arrangements with the parents. After school children are considered day children and must be picked up by 6:00 P.M.
Curriculum
We use the A Beka curriculum, which we find gives the children we serve a good Phonic foundation. Many of our children are ready to read when completing a full year training of the A Beka program. We also offer computer classes for ages 2 years and up. A small monthly fee will give your child a head start into the world of computers. The classes are taught by a professional computer teacher who comes on site. Our toddler and preschool students attend the library.
Staff Qualifications
Each employee must meet the standards set forth by D.H.R. for daycares. This includes a background check and criminal background check. We operate a licensed facility subjected to all laws by all state departments - Fire, Health and Labor Departments as well as any agency that governs daycares. We are subject to random inspections by all of the above agencies.
Nutrition Program
We participate in the U.S.D.A. Child Nutrition Food Program. That means that every meal your child is served meets the standards of the U.S.D.A. We have a full-time cook on staff. We serve Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner and Late Night Snack.
Transportation
We will provide transportation to and from school only. We do not pick up or deliver home. We will provide transportation to and from field trips.
Hours Of operations:
Monday through Friday 5:00 A.M. - Midnight. The day shift ends at 6:00 P.M. All day children must be picked up by the 6:00 P.M. cut off. Late pickup fee will be as follows: $1.00 PER MINUTE AFTER 6:00 p.m. $2.00 PER MINUTE AFTER MIDNIGHT. Parents are allotted 10 hours per day according to the agreement made at the time of enrollment. Parents must make an effort to pick up or receive their children from our center within the time frame agreed upon.
